Session 1: How Do You (Really) Know You’re Being Understood (for Real)?
January 28
Members of the Mentalizing Together Hub Team, after brief introductions will speak to how they see mentalizing contributing to their work and practices. We will set the stage for the upcoming eight sessions where the aim is to look at topics that are integral and important to psychotherapy and consider how they link to the process of mentalizing.
In this lead-off session we’ll address a twofold challenge that presents all clinicians: that of trying to accurately understand their patients and then effectively conveying that understanding.
